  1. Hytelnet for the Macintosh version 6.8

  4. Hytelnet is a user friendly front end to a large database of
  5. internet accessable library and information services.
  6.  
  7. This file is a Stuffit 3.07  archive that contains:
  8.     - Hytelnet Reader (HyperCard stack)
  9.     - Information document in old MacWrite format
  10.     - Hytelnet Data files.
  11.  
  12. To unarchive this database you will need a recent version of stuffit,
  13. or stuffit expander.
  14.  
  15. The Macintosh version will:
  16.     - automatically open NCSA telnet 
  17.       and connect to remote sites.
  18.     - update the Hytelnet database using files from the
  19.       HYTEL-l list serv or usenet group.
  20.     - Read PC, or Unix files over a network.  It will also update
  21.       a networked PC database from the Hytel-l list serv files.
  22.   - Keep a list of favorite sites
  23.   - Find a site by key word
  24.     
  25. Essential Files:
  26.     - HyperCard 2.1 (or HyperCard Player)
  27.     - System 7.0 is prefered
  28.     - Hytelnet data directory and files.
  29.
